Hindu Temple of Wisconsin is hosting a free meditation event in celebration of Guru Purnima. This event is open to people of all faiths and cultures.
You are invited to participate in an authentic spiritual program by Shiv R. Jhawar, founder of Noble World Foundation and author of the book, “Building a Noble World.” In his book, Jhawar notes, "Meditation can transform a person's character, conduct, and behavior. Through the practice of meditation, lost energy is replenished, memory is improved, intellect is sharpened, and intuition is developed. Meditation removes all worries and tensions of the mind.”
In chapter 4 of this book, the author describes his experience of samadhi as a result of Kundalini awakening on September 16, 1974. Jhawar writes, "Once you have an experience of transcendental reality, you are changed forever." Since that day, he has been practicing meditation and helping others through his spiritual talks and writing.
In this event, Shiv R. Jhawar will explain the profound meaning and significance of Guru Purnima, followed by a guided meditation session and a question & answer session.
Join in! You will gain new insights and learn a powerful meditation technique you can use for the rest of your life.
